Mid Java Programmer in Dallas

• The job is a Junior/Senior role.
• Demonstrated mastery of Java language and features. 7 years or more of development experience, mostly with Java.
• Strong OOP fundamentals
• You are expected to bring new ideas.
• “Full Stack” skills are preferred, but we will consider strong back-end developers
• HTML/CSS/Javascript
• XML, JSON, YAML
• SQL, database access with JDBC, skills with one or more of Postgresql, Oracle, SQL server databases
• Awareness of, or experience with NoSQL databases a bonus
• Autonomous self-starter

• You will not be closely supervised, but will be expected to perform at a high level and meet your commitments
• Strong communications skills.
• Ability to create new and edit existing technical (generally not user) documentation
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with software
• Software Engineering skills
• Architecture/design
• Implementation
• Testing / automated test
• Other tooling: Git, Jenkins, Gradle, Gerrit are all strong pluses
