“EOB Conversion to Electronic Data: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly” is the title of the discussion. Gordon, who oversees our healthcare and medical banking solutions, is to appear alongside Aaron Grandison, president of MediStreams, and Joe Mikel, senior vice president at Fiserv. The panel is scheduled for the second day of the conference, which is set for January 28-29 in Phoenix.
The panel’s goal, organizers say, is to present “key considerations in selecting an EOB solution, differentiating vendors, best practices for deploying a solution, the most common mistakes providers make in selecting, deploying and managing solutions, the issue of onshore and offshore keying, and the pros and cons of outsourcing EOB conversion to a third-party.”
Systemware’s medical banking solution helps financial institutions turn their lockbox offerings into a competitive advantage for healthcare customers by speeding payments, ensuring reconciliation, and reducing costs. It extends those lockbox capabilities by automating payment posting as well as secondary claims generation and submission, which significantly increases the rate in which providers receive their money.
Gordon, who also helps direct our efforts in digital mail, is a frequent speaker on various aspects of enterprise content management. He’s appeared most recently at the Healthcare Payments Automation Summit, the Capture and Fusion conferences, and the TEXPO treasury management conference.
