Dan Basso

Co-Founder

Chief Executive Officer and President

Since co-founding Systemware, Inc. in 1981 Dan Basso has provided the driving force behind Systemware’s substantial and sustained growth. His strategic leadership has evolved as the company matured, from an early focus on product direction, agreement negotiation, and financial matters to his current role as a strong executive leader who drives corporate direction and stays involved in key development decisions.

Dan continues to serve as the company’s guiding light, ensuring that all product innovation is built on the standard architecture and utilizes Systemware’s core capabilities to address the ever-changing needs of the marketplace. Dan sets the company tone for excellence and results, and even as he challenges and motivates employees, he supports a culture that is family-oriented and encourages employees to have fun.

Before co-founding Systemware, Dan was a member of the senior IT management team at Frito-Lay where he led strategic technology initiatives. He has also held several IT positions with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and LTV Corporation.

Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering from the University of Illinois and he is currently President of the Board for T Bank.

Michael VanderLinden

Co-Founder

Chief Technology Officer

Since helping to co-found the company, Mike Vander Linden has been the visionary behind Systemware’s product development, including JHS, the first automated SYSOUT/SYSLOG management system that continues to be an industry leader. Mike was also the visionary for and played a crucial role in shaping the overall product architecture for Content Server, a core Systemware product which serves as the foundation of all other company products. Much of Systemware’s success can be tied to the robust capabilities of Content Server. Mike is still very much involved in the architecture and product development direction for Content Server.

Mike held a variety of development and management positions in public and private sectors before he helped found Systemware. He also served as a Captain in the United States Air Force.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physics and mathematics from St. John’s University and a master’s degree in applied mathematics from the University of Arkansas. He also earned an MBA from the University of Utah. Mike has been an adult leader for the Boy Scouts of America for 15 years.

David Basso

Vice President, Sales

As a former Systemware sales executive, David Basso distinguished himself as a leader by adding a number of Systemware’s marquee clients. His sales expertise provides the critical component necessary to select and develop a team of highly seasoned sales professionals and account managers dedicated to growing and maintaining Systemware's customer base.

Before joining Systemware, David held sales positions with several industrial and technology companies.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Millikin University.

Frankie Basso

Vice President, Marketing

Frankie Basso leads all marketing, branding, lead generation and product management activities for all Systemware products. Recognizing the need to broaden Systemware’s product offerings, he was instrumental in developing the company’s packaged applications. This strategy resulted in Systemware’s ability to market and sell to mid-size and smaller companies that don’t have the budgets of the larger, Fortune 500 companies but who need the same functionality and capabilities. Frankie continues to develop marketing strategies that expand the ways that companies can purchase and use Systemware products.

Frankie is known as an expert communicator for his ability to translate complex technical subject matter into clear terms that potential clients can understand. His earlier experience on the Systemware sales team helped him develop a good understanding of the power of the technology and how it translates to value for the market.

Frankie holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Southern Methodist University and is a member of the Board for T Bank.

Steven Carrillo

Vice President, Development and Support

Steven Carrillo leads the development, technical support, and product maintenance organizations. Under his leadership, the development organization has created the Systemware suite of components that extends and complements Systemware Content Server. Steven also provides guidance and direction for the development of additional components that have been instrumental in completing the company’s enterprise content management suite. As leader of the technical support group, Steven oversees the consistent and exemplary customer support that Systemware has become known for.

Prior to joining Systemware, Steven held operations positions for a number of government entities, including the United States Army.

Ronald Denheyer

Vice President, Finance & Administration, CFO

Ron Denheyer oversees and guides the day-to-day finance and administration operations, including accounting, payroll, employee benefits and facilities. Ron works with the executive team to ensure that the company’s financial operations align with and support the corporate objectives. Under Ron’s financial leadership, Systemware has enjoyed financial stability, profitability and growth throughout its history, and continues to value its employees by offering full benefits, retirement and a nurturing and supportive work environment that is family-oriented and encourages employees to have fun.

Before joining Systemware, Ron held the position of division controller for an insurance company.

Ron earned a BBA in Finance from Texas Christian University and an MBA from the University of Dallas. He is a member of Financial Executives International and a member of the Board for T Bank.

Patrick Sheehan

Vice President, Technical Services

Pat Sheehan oversees technical sales support, customer implementation and training. He provides strong direction throughout the sales cycle concerning the technical capabilities of Systemware software and how Systemware can effectively address our customers’ business needs. Pat’s organization provides technical sales support in areas such as customized demos, preparation for and actual implementation as well as client training. Over time, Pat’s team has streamlined Systemware’s implementation process, ensuring that all solutions are implemented quickly and without business disruptions. The team also works with customers to ensure that all Systemware solutions integrate seamlessly with existing applications and technologies.

Pat held a number of technical and sales positions before joining Systemware and has worked in both the technology and financial services industries.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science from Vanderbilt University.

Todd Hunter

Executive Vice President, Systemware PS and Chief Operating Officer

Todd Hunter is responsible for defining the Systemware PS’ strategy as well as providing overseeing and guiding the day-to-day operations of this IT services group. Todd also works closely with the executive team of Systemware Inc., an enterprise content management software company and sister company, to expand relationships and opportunities.

Before joining Systemware PS, Todd managed channel alliance relationships for software firms such as Systemware, Vignette and Ariba. He was previously president at WorkFlow Designs, a successful professional consulting company acquired by InfoImage. During his tenure, he managed consulting operations with offices in Dallas, Chicago and Denver. Todd started his career at IBM where he held a variety of sales positions.

Todd holds a bachelors degree in computer science from Tulane University and a masters degree in business administration from the University of Dallas.
